Innovation to relieve pressure from the rider’s spine.
Stübben has collaborated with the BIOMEX Technology Development Centre of Klinik Gut, a Swiss Hospital for Orthopaedics, Accident Care and Sports Medicine based at St Moritz. Combined with feedback from professional riders, we have developed an innovative saddle seat design which promotes correct posture and riding, thus relieving the rider’s back from too much pressure. False posture leads to an increased axial pressure on the back and furthermore to dorsal problems. Riders complain about occasional back pain, i.e. 23.8% experience pain while riding, and 55.2% after riding. The new BIOMEX Saddle Seat Technology may be able to prevent back pain.
